Bella Kate Media was established in April 2026 as an independent music photography and media company based in the Scottish Highlands, covering artists, live events and the wider music industry across Scotland and beyond.

With a particular focus on grassroots and emerging artists, Bella Kate Media is about finding the artists who deserve to be heard — often before you hear them yourself.

Since launching, I have photographed 30+ artists at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, as well as working with artists including Declan McKenna and Callum Beattie, alongside photographing live shows, touring artists and independent events.

My work goes beyond photography. I also create written music content and contribute to independent music platforms including NetSounds and Totally Tuneular, covering artists, releases, live music and the stories behind emerging talent.

DISCOVERING NEW MUSIC

One of the biggest parts of Bella Kate Media is discovering and championing artists at the beginning of their journey.

Through Tune Tuesdays, created in partnership with Totally Tuneular, I regularly highlight new releases and emerging artists, alongside Throwback Thursdays, celebrating music from the past.

Whether it's through a photograph, an article, an artist feature or a playlist recommendation, the goal is simple:

Find great music. Tell its story. Give it the audience it deserves.
